About the role
We are looking for a GL Accountant to join our client – a global technology conglomerate operating across the legal, accounting, and financial services industries. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic, international environment where finance meets innovative technology.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting standards
- Performing period-end closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Supporting financial reporting processes and audits
- Analyzing balance sheet and P&L fluctuations
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. finance teams, business units)
- Working with ERP systems and contributing to process improvements
Requirements
- Experience in General Ledger / RTR accounting
- Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP)
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Very good command of English (min. B2/C1)
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
