Opportunity overview:

As a consultant within the Dell organisation, aligned to consulting service delivery, you will provide consultative business and technical delivery services for a range of complex customer-facing consulting engagements. Specifically, you will be part of projects deploying, administering and configurating Large Language Model and Generative AI software stacks. These projects will focus on allowing Dell customers to deploy and fine-tune GenAI models.

As a member of the services delivery team, you will work alongside Dell badged Consultants, to earn the customer’s trust through competence, technical acumen, consulting expertise, and partnership. This position requires a dynamic individual with expert customer-facing skills. The ability to guide customers and communicate technical processes and ideas is essential. These engagements often ensure that the customer is also enabled in the technologies being delivered.

The consultant should have the common traits and capabilities that are listed in Section 2 (Essential Requirements) and meet many of the capabilities listed in Section 3 (Desirable Requirements).

Essential Requirements and Skills 
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting infrastructure deployment, setup and configuration through automation - client will consider people with less experience
- 2+ years of experience working in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in a customer-facing services delivery role. Ability to engage data scientists to explore their existing and future ecosystem - client will consider people with less experience
- Proven experience utilizing DevOps and IAC practices for both application development and infrastructure automation, such as building desired-state configuration, leveraging GitOps and building CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of the GenAI tooling ecosystem including knowledge and experience of Kubernetes, MLOps and AIOps tools. Knowledge and experience deploying MLOps and AIOps tools such as cnvrg.io, run:ai and Domino.
- Extensive knowledge of popular CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, ArgoCD and Tekton
- Proven experience with deployment and configuration of Kubernetes such as OpenShift. Deep knowledge of K8s application deployments, helm charts and K8s operators. 
- Extensive experience in building containerised applications and knowledge of container image signing.
- Ability to gain customer trust, ability to plan, organise and drive customer workshops. Good communication skills in English is a must.
- The ability to work in a highly efficient team using an Agile methodology such as Scrum or Kanban. Ability to have extended pairing sessions with customers, enabling knowledge transfers in complex domains.
- Knowledge of AI related K8s operators, such as Nvidia GPU and Network Operators.
- Excellent working knowledge of Linux. Good working networking knowledge - Knowledge of large scale and high-performance cluster management
- Very good knowledge and hands-on experience of industry wide virtualisation such as vSphere, and ESX.
- Ability to influence and interact with confidence and credibility at all levels within the Dell Technologies companies and with our customers, partners, and vendors.
- Experience working on project teams within a defined methodology while adhering to margin, planning and SOW requirements.

- Ability to be onsite during customer workshops and enablement sessions.

Desirable Requirements and Skills

- General awareness of Dell Technologies products
- Knowledge of the Nvidia AI tool suite such as Bright Command Manager, NeMo Framework, Triton Inference Server, and others.
- Experience and deep knowledge of Large Language Models (LLM).
- Experience deploying and using the Nemo Framework and Nvidia Triton Inference Server is a plus.
- Experience and good knowledge of ansible
- Deployment Knowledge of Vendor supported Kubernetes distributions such as OpenShift, Tanzu and Rancher.
- Knowledge of Hyper-V is a plus.
- Hands on experience with MLOps and AIOps tools such as cnvrg.io, mlfow and Domino.
- Experience using Lean and Iterative Deployment Methodologies
- In possession of the Certified Kubernetes Certification (CKA) is a definite plus.
- University Degree aligned to Machine Learning is a plus.
- In possession of relevant industry certifications e.g. Nvidia, Dell, K8s and RHEL.
