Tasks:
- Design and analyze hydraulic systems for marine and offshore cranes and winches, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Develop hydraulic schematics, system layouts, and component specifications using CAD software and hydraulic simulation tools.
- Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators) based on system requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning to ensure hydraulic systems meet design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hydraulic system issues during testing and field operations.
- Ensure hydraulic systems meet relevant industry regulations and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register).
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design reports, test procedures, and operation manuals if needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in hydraulic system design and engineering, preferably in the marine or offshore industry.
- Proven track record of working on hydraulic systems for cranes, winches, or similar heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk inventor) for system layout and schematics.
- Understanding of control systems integration with hydraulic systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting hydraulic systems in the field.
- Communicative in English.
