Medical Science Liaison

Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Medical Leadership and Commercial teams to build and strengthen the medical presence within the country.
- Develop, maintain, and manage strong collaborative relationships with key external medical experts and opinion leaders across current and future therapeutic areas, while gaining a deep understanding of their unmet needs.
- Contribute to the creation and effective communication of complex scientific content, ensuring accurate and compliant dissemination of data related to both existing and pipeline products.
- Lead disease education initiatives by increasing awareness and organizing local scientific activities, including symposia, advisory boards, and scientific meetings, in line with disease strategies and compliance standards.
- Actively support all pre‑launch, launch, and lifecycle activities for marketed products and assets in development.
- Provide medical information and scientific support in response to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, in accordance with local regulations and internal procedures.
- Engage in high‑level scientific and educational interactions with therapeutic specialists, focusing on diagnostic pathways and clinically relevant topics.
- Support and facilitate local early access or patient access programs addressing high unmet medical needs.
- Gather competitive intelligence and generate market insights related to diagnostics, treatment approaches, and evolving standards of care within the region.
- Share key insights from KOL interactions to inform brand strategy and medical planning.
- Contribute proactively to internal medical capability building by delivering training to sales and cross‑functional teams on disease areas and products, aligned with Medical Affairs leadership guidance.
- Manage or support local investigator‑initiated studies and research projects in compliance with local regulations and internal SOPs.
- Ensure all pharmacophilia and risk‑management‑related activities are planned and executed in accordance with local legislation and internal procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and legal integrity across all medical activities, while supporting additional medical projects as required.
Candidate Profile
- Advanced scientific or medical education, including an MD or an equivalent postgraduate degree (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD) in a relevant life‑science discipline such as Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven background working with innovative therapies and products.
- Experience in oncology and established relationships with leading national KOLs are considered a strong advantage.
- Hands‑on involvement in product launches is highly desirable.
- Solid scientific, clinical, and Medical Affairs expertise, with confidence discussing both on‑label and off‑label scientific concepts.
- Ability to leverage data and insights to guide next steps and enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Experience collaborating with a broad range of healthcare stakeholders and a strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape.
- Fluency in English is required.
