Regional Financial Controller
Opis stanowiska
For our Client, an international manufacturing group with a strong market position and growing global footprint, we are currently looking for a professional for the position of
Regional Financial Controller.
This is a newly created role established to strengthen the Group’s financial controlling and reporting function across multiple international subsidiaries. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating financial activities, standardizing reporting processes, and supporting the business in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating financial controlling activities for international subsidiaries,
- Acting as a business partner to Local Managing Directors and regional leadership,
- Preparing monthly management reporting in accordance with IFRS and aligned with local GAAP,
- Analyzing variances versus Budget, Forecast, and prior year results, including preparation of management commentary,
- Coordinating monthly reporting processes across multiple foreign entities while cooperating with local finance teams,
- Verifying accounting entries prepared by external accounting offices,
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls in line with Group requirements,
- Driving standardization of financial reporting and controlling processes,
- Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes,
- Coordinating internal and external audits,
- Identifying financial risks and optimization opportunities,
- Preparing financial analyses and recommendations for Group Management,
- Acting as a key finance contact point during international integration and transformation projects,
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across different countries and business units.
Requirements:
- Strong accounting background – previous experience in accounting is required,
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring,
- Ability to coordinate financial processes across multiple international entities,
- Experience working in an international environment with local finance teams and external accounting providers,
- Experience implementing internal controls and reporting standards,
- Strong analytical thinking and business partnering capabilities,
- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail,
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under time pressure,
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
- Proactive attitude, resilience, and hands-on approach,
- Advanced Excel skills,
- Very good command of English.
