About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior RTR Manager / RTR Director to take full ownership of the Record to Report function within a growing Global Business Services organization.
This is a high-impact role, crucial to building and shaping RTR structures, driving standardization, and establishing a finance center of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of the RTR (Record to Report) function within a GBS environment
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing RTR team
- Oversee core RTR processes, including:
- Month-end and year-end closing
- General Ledger
- Fixed Assets
- Accruals & provisions
- Intercompany accounting
- Statutory and management reporting
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
- Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives
- Lead or support process migrations and transformations
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (Finance, Controlling, local markets)
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Define, monitor, and improve KPIs and SLAs
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in RTR / GL / Accounting, including GBS/SSC environment (mandatory)
- Proven leadership experience (managing teams of min. 8-10 FTEs)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/US GAAP preferred)
- Experience in GBS/SSC setup, transformation, or scaling organizations
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently
- Strong change management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – nice to have
- Fluent English
- Experience with ERP systems
