For our Client, a global manufacturing organization operating in the automotive and advanced technology sector, we are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. This position plays a key role in ensuring supplier quality performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting successful product launches through close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive effective resolution of supplier quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers to ensure sustainable improvements.
- Support supplier development activities and continuous improvement programs.
- Act as the key liaison between Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Participate in cross-functional teams focused on change management, quality improvement, and operational excellence.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments and develop action plans to address identified gaps.
- Support supplier change management processes and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Lead and participate in supplier audits and follow-up activities.
- Support smooth product and process launches while ensuring supplier readiness.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement initiatives where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related Quality role within an automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting audits and driving supplier improvement activities.
- Strong sense of ownership, persistence, and ability to manage challenging quality situations.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in coaching, facilitation, or training activities is considered an advantage.
