About the role:
- The Senior Operations Business Analyst role has been created as an important reinforcement of the global analytics team, with a particular focus on supporting stakeholders in the United States.
- This is not a role focused only on reporting or providing time-zone coverage for the US market. We are looking for a business partner who can use data to support decisions, identify issues and recommend improvements that have a real impact on operations.
- The position combines business analysis, data analysis, stakeholder cooperation, process improvement and the development of tools and solutions supporting operational decision-making.
Team and working environment:
- The person hired for this role will join a global analytics team supporting several QVC Group markets, including the US market.
- The team is geographically distributed and includes team members based in Japan, Italy and the United Kingdom.
- The standard team size is around six people. However, the team is currently operating with a smaller headcount, which makes this recruitment particularly important.
- Work is not split strictly by country or market. Responsibilities are allocated based on skills, experience, availability and current business priorities.
- It is a highly collaborative environment where team members work together on projects, share knowledge and support one another in daily tasks.

The team provides data, analysis and reporting that help the business make better decisions and improve operational efficiency. For example, if the organisation sets a goal related to supplier delivery accuracy, the team monitors' performance, identifies deviations, investigates the root causes and supports the business in defining corrective actions.
Work structure and key challenges:
The role combines strategic project work with ongoing operational support. Approximately 30% of the work is connected with the development of tools, systems and process improvements, around 20% with ad hoc analysis and data requests, around 20% with operational and process-related activities, around 20% with recurring weekly tasks, and around 10% with maintaining existing solutions and troubleshooting tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Anaplan or SAP. One of the main challenges is working across multiple systems, data sources and operational processes. The person in this role will need to connect information from different platforms, structure it clearly and translate it into practical business insights. Another important aspect is cooperation with US stakeholders, which requires strong communication skills, flexibility and the ability to build relationships across different locations and time zones.
